In collection management, in the store and in the marketplace, the number of collection items displayed can be restricted. This is done using filters.
The dialog for this can usually be found to the left of the results.
In the first line on the right, you can delete all filter settings via “Reset filter”. The “+image” filter remains active in the museum.
Depending on whether you are in the collection management, the museum or the store, the dialog may look slightly different.
In the collection management you can filter by GUSID. As soon as you start entering it, suggestions from the collection will be made. A suitable entry must be selected for transfer as a filter. The system searches for the beginning of the character string.
You can filter for your own collection IDs by starting to enter the search term in the “Own collection ID” field. Please select an entry to use as a filter. The search is performed in the ID.
You can select a component by starting to type the component name (mineral, rock, fossil name) and selecting it from the list. As soon as you click on the field, a list of the components in your collection will be displayed after a short moment.
This filter is combined with the location filter. If a location is selected, only components that have been assigned to a collection object with a connection to the location are displayed.
You can select a location by starting to type the location name and selecting it from the list. As soon as you click on the field, a list of the locations in your collection will be displayed after a short moment. The entire search path is searched.
This filter is combined with the component filter. If a component is selected, only locations whose collection objects are linked to the component and the location are displayed.
Here you can specify whether only collection objects with a connection to the respective component type should be displayed (fossil, mineral, rock, meteorite).
Display of collection objects with image assignment.
Display of collection objects with analysis data assignment.
Display of collection objects whose components come from the type location. This requires the assignment of the type locality and the type mineral there.
Display of objects of a certain size. The filter only works if a size assignment has been made for collection objects.
When an element is selected, collection objects containing the element in the chemical formula are displayed.
If a Strunz ID is assigned to the component (this is done in the Mineral Atlas during mineral maintenance), it can be filtered here.
For fossils in particular, collection items to which a geological epoch has been assigned can be filtered out.
