====== Marketplace / Shop ====== The marketplace allows you to sell or trade surplus material directly from your collections. {{:de:shop.png?400|}} To use this function, you must provide additional information when defining your collection. This includes your seller details with address and payment information. A minimum order value and shipping costs can be defined as a flat rate. The default shipping cost is €5. Within your collection, you must assign a price and the option “Sell” to the objects you want to offer. You can find these settings under “Additional information” (speech bubble icon). Once all information has been provided, your collection object will be displayed in the marketplace. You can access the marketplace via the piggy bank icon or via the hamburger menu. **Note:** Images, information on aesthetics/quality, possible analyses and size significantly improve your chances of selling. As soon as someone purchases an item from you, you will be notified by email. This email is sent to the address stored with the collection. The buyer will be informed that you will contact them to complete the purchase. \\ ===== Order number ===== The system assigns a unique order number to each order. If a customer buys from multiple sellers, a separate order with its own order number is generated for each seller. The order number always follows the structure: date in reverse order YYYYMMDD (year month day), followed by a hyphen and an 8-character random alphanumeric string. The order number allows both customer and seller to refer to the same order. \\ ===== Filters ===== In the shop, results can be filtered. **Combining multiple filters may result in no results being displayed.** For example, if you select a locality and a mineral that does not occur at that locality, the result will be empty. You can reset filters at any time by clicking “**Reset Filter**”. For minerals and localities, you can also click on one of the selection/input fields, select nothing, and click again. {{:de:filter.png?400|}} ==== Mineral ==== Clicking on “Select mineral, fossil, rock” opens a list of all minerals offered for sale. The number of available sale items is shown in parentheses. You can start typing part of the name to shorten the list and find the desired mineral more quickly. ==== Locality ==== Clicking on “Select locality” opens a list of all localities of objects offered for sale. The list is sorted by country. The number of available sale items is shown in parentheses. You can enter parts of the locality name or fragments of the locality path. Searching for “**Bel Rh**” narrows the list, for example, to the **Bel**lerberg in **Rh**ineland-Palatinate. ==== Aesthetics / minimum quality ==== If a rating has been assigned to the items for sale, you can filter by it here. 5 stars is the highest rating. Items without a rating are filtered out when this option is selected. ==== Only analysed components ==== You can specify that only specimens which have undergone an analysis should be displayed. ==== Only objects with images ==== If it is important for you to assess the item for sale using images, this is the right filter. Sellers can upload images and videos. ==== Price range ==== The price range initially includes all items for sale. You can adjust it via manual input or using the sliders, which reduces the number of displayed results accordingly. ==== Show these object sizes ==== Here you can specify which size and type of objects you want to see. A display specimen represents a clearly visible size and particularly high quality. ==== Show offers from (All) ==== If you want to choose only from certain offers, this is the appropriate filter. \\ ===== Sold ===== If you have sold something, this is indicated by a green shopping cart icon next to your collection description in the main overview. {{:de:verkauft.png?400|}} From there, you can always access your orders. {{:de:Verkaufsuebersicht.jpg?400|}} You can download these as a PDF and include them with the order. You can also click on the pencil icon (edit order) or the checkmark icon (order completed) and assign various statuses to your order. You can add a shipment tracking link for the customer and mark the order as shipped. The comment field is intended for your private notes about the order. In the sales overview, the order status is shown using 4 symbols: * 1. Green checkmark / pencil → Order completed or order received, set status * 2. Link icon → Link / merge orders to save shipping costs * 3. Piggy bank → Goods already paid (green) / payment requested (blue) * 4. Airplane icon → Goods handed over to the shipping service provider The status is set using the checkmark. To do this, click on the pencil icon. \\ ===== Shopping cart ===== Behind each item for sale is a dark blue shopping cart icon with a “+” in front of it. Clicking it adds the item to your shopping cart. This also works as a guest. You can see your shopping cart, the number of items and the total value at the top right. Ordering is not possible as a guest. When logging in, the contents of the guest cart are added to your cart as a logged-in user. {{:de:warenkorb.png?400|}} Clicking on the shopping cart shows its contents separated by seller. If there is only one seller, this is not shown separately. Here you can decide whether you want to purchase items from all sellers or only from one seller. {{:de:warenkorb-inhalt.png?400|}} Clicking on buy gives you an order overview with the sellers’ information on delivery conditions, shipping costs and minimum order value. Only then can you complete the purchase. {{:de:checkout.png?400|}} Payment is handled directly between you and the seller. \\ ===== Purchased ===== You can find an overview of your purchases in the hamburger menu after logging in. There you can view each individual order. Orders placed simultaneously with multiple sellers are shown as separate orders. If the seller has provided shipping information with a tracking URL, you can track the shipment. {{:de:orders.png?400|}} \\ ---- *[[en:start|Start page]]
