====== Assign minerals, rocks and fossils to a collection object ====== Geological collection objects often consist of minerals that are based on a rock or may be embedded in a fossil. You have the option to map these relationships here. A pyrite embedded in fluorite on a baryte matrix can be assigned to the collection object using so-called connectors such as in, on, next to, etc. Chains of these connectors can be assigned. This can also be represented for a pyrite in shale or an ammonite in lithographic limestone. {{:de:mrf-kette.png?800|}} Once the arrangement of the minerals has been assigned, it looks approximately like this. {{:de:mrf-zugeordnet.png?800|}} ===== Detailed assignments ===== The assignment still appears somewhat sparse. Special properties of the minerals are missing. There is neither a size specification nor information about habit, quality, color, etc. of the individual minerals. To change this, a button for editing can be clicked behind each mineral and the properties can be completed. Here we have done this exemplarily using a uranophane. {{:de:mineral-eigenschaften.png?800|}} In the overview, a somewhat more complete picture is now shown behind the mineral name. {{:de:mrf-eigenschaften-zugeordnet.png?800|}} \\ \\ ---- *[[en:color_picker|Select colors – the color wheel]] *[[en:start|Start page]]
