We were allowed to take over the collection of Theo Halama (*24.12.1941 — 16.12.2024) from Bottrop. Many thanks to his granddaughters Insa and Solveig and their mother Daniela Hagenbruch.
The collection mainly comprises fossils from hard coal. The mines are no longer accessible today.
Many of the fossils and minerals can already be seen in the Geolitho collection. They provide a good indication of the fossils to be found there.
