After almost four years of inten\u00adsive vol\u00adun\u00adtary work, Dr Man\u00adfred Seitz, co-founder and for\u00admer man\u00adag\u00ading direc\u00adtor, is relin\u00adquish\u00ading his shares in Geolitho Stiftung and step\u00adping down from the board. Matthias Fieser will take over respon\u00adsi\u00adbil\u00adi\u00adty in future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Although the Geolitho Foun\u00adda\u00adtion was only estab\u00adlished in 2021, its suc\u00adcess is based on a foun\u00adda\u00adtion that Dr Seitz has been help\u00ading to shape since 2001: togeth\u00ader with a small group of enthu\u00adsi\u00adasts, he devel\u00adoped the Lithothek, a com\u00admu\u00adni\u00adty col\u00adlec\u00adtion, into a glob\u00adal\u00adly recog\u00adnised institution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At almost 90 years of age, Dr Seitz wish\u00ades to del\u00ade\u00adgate his duties in order to focus on what is most impor\u00adtant to him: advis\u00ading and sup\u00adport\u00ading the Lithothek from behind the scenes. We owe him our deep\u00adest grat\u00adi\u00adtude and high\u00adest appre\u00adci\u00ada\u00adtion for his ongo\u00ading commitment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For\u00adtu\u00adnate\u00adly, we were able to recruit Matthias Fieser, whom we con\u00adsid\u00ader to be a wor\u00adthy and com\u00admit\u00adted suc\u00adces\u00adsor. We first got to know him through his reg\u00adu\u00adlar pur\u00adchas\u00ades in our mar\u00adket\u00adplace; since then, he has been involved in the Lithothek sev\u00ader\u00adal times a week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Matthias brings every\u00adthing we need \u2013 above all, ener\u00adgy, fresh ideas and the desire to fur\u00adther devel\u00adop the foun\u00adda\u00adtion. In his mid-50s, he is an asset to our team. He spares no effort, goes where sup\u00adport is need\u00aded and, thanks to his sta\u00adble pro\u00adfes\u00adsion\u00adal sit\u00adu\u00ada\u00adtion, can con\u00adtribute more time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Any\u00adone who attend\u00aded the Munich Show 2025 may have already seen him at the Munich Min\u00ader\u00adal Friends stand, where he was active\u00adly help\u00ading out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Fol\u00adlow\u00ading the change, Matthias Fieser and Ste\u00adfan Schorn will con\u00adtin\u00adue to hold the same share in the foun\u00adda\u00adtion, while G\u00fcn\u00adter Frenz will retain his minor\u00adi\u00adty stake. The change in share\u00adhold\u00aders and man\u00adag\u00ading direc\u00adtors was notarised on 25 Novem\u00adber 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
