The terms labels and tags are used here as synonyms.
The collection management system offers the possibility to define labels / tags for many different formats and requirements. This is done via the “Define labels” dialog.
On the one hand, you can define your own labels; on the other hand, you can use predefined, system-wide labels. If additional system-wide labels are needed, please let us know and provide the corresponding requirements.
Custom labels are only available within your own collection.
To define your own labels, you must first select an existing label, modify it, and then insert it using the button “Insert as new” that appears.
It is important that the short names of the labels are unique. Otherwise, they cannot be distinguished in the selection lists. It is allowed to use identical short descriptions for all language versions.
Custom labels are displayed with a light-green background in the selection lists.
Custom labels can be edited or existing labels can be used as templates. System-wide labels are read-only and cannot be deleted.
This value cannot be changed and is for informational purposes only. In case of a support request, the GUSID may be important.
This is the text shown in selection boxes. This text must be unique for all labels. It is recommended to use a distinctive suffix for custom labels. Overlaps with labels from other collections are currently not allowed.
The text must be unique in all languages.
A short description of the label (up to 255 characters).
Allowed values: 0 or 1.
If set to 1, the label will appear in the list of first labels. First labels are normally printed only with GUSID or own ID and barcode and are used for fast initial registration and property assignment.
If the first label has enough space and the value is set to 1, the geolitho.eu URL will be printed. This helps to associate the GUSID with the collection management system, especially when objects are transferred.
Allowed values: 0 or 1.
Enter the number of labels available on an unused label sheet. The first value specifies the horizontal count (left to right), the second value the vertical count (top to bottom).
Enter the width and height of a label as accurately as possible. Exact data can usually be found on the manufacturer's website or on the packaging. Unit: mm with dot as decimal separator.
Many label sheets have a small gap between labels. Enter the width of this gap here. If no gap exists, set the value to 0.
Defines the upper-left position of the first label. Measured from the left edge and from the top edge of the sheet.
