This collection management system includes a permission system. This allows you to grant people rights to your collection or to work together with other people on a collection. For example, it would be conceivable to manage a collection distributed across multiple locations.

Some permissions are grouped. A person who is granted write permissions for collection objects automatically also receives read permissions. If their write permissions are revoked, the read permissions must be revoked separately.

The following permissions are roughly outlined:

• Manage users

• Assign permissions for a collection
• Each collection has one or more collection administrators
• A collection administrator does not necessarily have to see the collection, but can grant themselves that right

• View the collection information
