To make it easier to find your collection objects, it is possible to assign storage locations to objects. You can currently create storage units on two levels, for example a box with drawers or a cabinet with compartments. This storage unit is then offered to you as a storage surface in a tree structure. To reach the desired selection more quickly, you can enter part of the name or specify the longest side in mm and search accordingly. Click on the square in front of the name you wish to select. The storage unit is then selected for assignment. Only one storage unit can be assigned at a time. The same applies to containers.

You can also assign a container to each collection object. A distinction is made between top-open and closed containers. Containers can be selected from a tree structure. To reach the desired selection more quickly, you can enter part of the name or specify the longest side in mm and search accordingly.

Once a container or storage unit has been assigned, it is displayed in the input field, and a red “x” behind it indicates that it can be removed.

If you have selected containers and/or storage units, please click on Change. Any previously assigned entries will be overwritten.
