If you require localities that are not available, you can create them yourself. The best approach would be via the Mineralienatlas. However, this is not always practical or desired.

To create custom localities, open the corresponding collection. Click on the hamburger menu (three horizontal bars at the top left) and select “Add localities”. Then click on the green “+ New” button. In the upper field, you can select existing regions by entering search terms, for example “Zillertal”. You can then append your locality to the locality path using a slash. It is also possible to freely enter completely new localities, for example “Bottle – Silvaner 1987 by Müller Thurgau” for a wine tartar deposit.

In the comment field, you can add further information about the locality.

The entry is now available in all selection boxes for assigning localities.
