This information is primarily used for selecting collection objects, for example for the marketplace.

You can specify the approximate dimensions of your collection object in millimeters and its weight in grams.

Under geological time period you can select when your object was formed. This is of particular interest for fossils (stratigraphic horizon) and rocks.
