In the collection management, in the shop and in the marketplace, the set of displayed collection objects can be restricted. This is done using filters.
The corresponding dialog is usually located to the left of the results.
In the first row on the right, you can remove all filter settings via “Reset filters”. In the museum, the “+ Image” filter remains active.
Depending on whether you are in the collection management, the museum or the shop, the dialog may look slightly different.
In the collection management, you can filter by GUSID. As soon as you start typing, suggestions from the collection are offered. A matching entry must be selected to apply it as a filter. The search is performed on the beginning of the character string.
You can filter by your own collection IDs by starting to type the search term in the “Own collection ID” field. To apply the filter, please select an entry. The search is performed within the ID.
You can select a component by starting to type the component name (mineral, rock or fossil name) and selecting it from the list. As soon as you click into the field, a list of components present in your collection is shown after a short moment.
This filter is combined with the location filter. If a location is selected, only components assigned to collection objects linked to that locality are displayed.
You can select a locality by starting to type the locality name and selecting it from the list. As soon as you click into the field, a list of localities present in your collection is shown after a short moment. The search covers the entire locality path.
This filter is combined with the component filter. If a component is selected, only localities whose collection objects are linked to both the component and the locality are displayed.
Allows you to restrict the display to collection objects linked to a specific component type (fossil, mineral, rock, meteorite).
Displays collection objects with an image assigned.
Displays collection objects with analysis data assigned.
Displays collection objects whose component comes from the type locality. This requires the assignment of the type locality and the corresponding type mineral.
Displays objects of a specific size. This filter only works if a size has been assigned to the collection objects.
When an element is selected, collection objects are displayed whose component contains that element in the chemical formula.
If a Strunz ID is assigned to the component (done in the Mineralienatlas during mineral maintenance), filtering by this criterion is possible.
Especially for fossils, collection objects can be filtered by an assigned geological epoch.
